Linda Cancro


Linda Cancro lives in Wall, New Jersey and is a lifetime community philanthropist . She has been a member of the Board of Trustees for the past four years.  She is a continuous advocate for educational programs and community development.

Irma H. Geib



Irma H. Geib is a Licensed Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree in School Nursing and Health Education. She has been involved in a variety of nursing roles over a period of 43 years as well as a Sales manager for Lab Corp and Roche Biomedical Labs covering New Jersey, Delaware and Pennsylvania, selling and marketing laboratory testing to doctors, hospitals, clinics & pharmaceutical companies engaged in clinical trials.  She is a member and an elder of the First Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Spring Lake Woman’s Club (Evening Department), 


Deacon Ed Jennings


Deacon Ed Jennings, serves at Saint Catharine's parish in Spring Lake,New Jersey,where he resides.  Ed is committed to faith, family and community and focuses his attention on developing continuing education programs for all.

Ted Johnson


Ted Johnson is the President and CEO of PrimeTime Plus, a product placement and marketing  firm of which he is the founder.  He brings several successful decades of experience in business relations and marketing to the Board. He is an Elder in the First Presbyterian Church of Manasquan, involved in men's ministry and active in the youth program. Ted has focused his experience and energy on the development committee.

Richard Kelly


Richard Kelly, a Vice President of Morgan Stanley has been a member of the Board of Trustees since its inception. He and his wife, Marybeth live in Brielle, New Jersey. Marybeth Kelly is a realtor with Diane Turton. Rich represents the Samaritan Center Board of Trustees on the Meridian Community Advisory Committee and is a tireless contributor to the development committee of the Center.


Kevin McHugh


COO, The Atlantic Club

Kevin McHugh is the Chief Operating Officer of the Atlantic Club, a premier fitness club in the New Jersey Shore area. He is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Manasquan, New Jersey. Kevin has a deep passion for working with others to positively impact the lives of individuals less fortunate, whether due to societal issues or suffering from disease. Kevin enjoys launching and building solid lasting foundations for important initiatives and working with a team of passionate individuals that want to positively impact the lives of the less fortunate.

As Chairman of Board of the Foodbank of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Kevin served three terms and successfully moved a 5,000 square foot facility from Spring Lake, New Jersey into a 60,000 foot facility in Neptune, New Jersey with a great team of dedicated Board Members. It is now one of the most efficiently operated and structured Foodbank Distribution Centers in the industry.

Under Kevin’s leadership The Atlantic Club supports Clubs for the Cure, a grassroots effort created to make a difference in the world by harnessing the power of the Atlantic Club Employees, Members, and the communities of Monmouth and Ocean Counties. The focus of this effort has been to raise monies to positively impact those afflicted with breast cancer and ALS.

Kevin has also provided opportunities for members of The Atlantic Club to be involved in charitable endeavors including launching the American Cancer Society Relay for Life in Monmouth County and directing The Atlantic Club Team in raising over $100,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation. Through Kevin’s leadership, his organization has lent support to the initial building and start-up of The Count Basie Learning Center in Red Bank and more recently with Cancer Cares. He has led The Atlantic Club in significantly impacting local charities, schools, and civic requests for the community.

Bonnie O'Neill


Bonnie O'Neill joins the Board as a community resident, philanthropist and activist.  Bonnie and her husband John divide their time between Brielle, New Jersey and Florida as well as family and friends.

Brendon Pierson


Brendon Pierson of Brendon Pierson Inc. Certified Public Accountants and Certified Financial Planners has joined the Board of Trustees as the Treasurer.  He brings  a collective body of experience in finance and fund management to the organization.

Robert Taurosa


Robert Taurosa is the owner of RTC South Street Family Limited Partnership with car dealerships and businesses throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.  He is a graduate of Monmouth University with a background in finance. He is an enthusiastic supporter of the Center, its programs and committees.  He and his wife Carol are active community philanthropists, dividing their time and resources among several charitable causes.

John C. Weaver


Wall Public School Superintendent, Retired

John C. Weaver is a community leader who has lived a lifetime of service. John grew up in the church, the son of a minister. A lifelong learner who values education, he received his B.A. degree from Gettysburg College and his M.A. degree from Columbia University. He has attended Seton Hall University and received mediation training from the Rutgers School of Labor Relations.

John served the Wall Township Public Schools, as a teacher, coach, principal, assistant superintendent and superintendent. John has a deep commitment to students and families and has often found himself in the role of counselor and guide. He has an abiding commitment to providing resources for the health and wellbeing of the community.

A member of the First Presbyterian Church in Manasquan, New Jersey since 1964, John has served as Elder; High School Sunday School Teacher; Chairperson of the Building Committee and Steering Committee; and Vice-Chairperson of the Pastor Nominating Committee. As Chairperson of the Long Range Planning Committee, John shared the dream for developing a counseling center that offers hope, healing and health for the families of the community. The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore is the realization his long time dream. In addition to the multiple roles John serves in his church, he also serves on the advisory board of the Jersey Shore University Hospital.

John is married to Judy who is also a leader in her community and church. Together they have two grown daughters who were raised within the church community.
