Carolann Kane Cavaiola, MA, LCADC, CCS

Executive Director 

Carolann Kane Cavaiola has a background in behavioral health administration that spans several decades, having worked at local, county and state levels. Her focus is on staff development and community relations and program policy and integration.

 

Carol King, MS

Licensed Professional Counselor

Carol King is licensed by the State of New jersey as a Professional Counselor. She is certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors. She comes to us from private practice in Bethesda, MD. and was associated with Alpha Omega Clinic and Consultation Services in Bethesda as well as Ephesians Life Ministries in Silver Spring, MD. Carol holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from Newton College of the Sacred Heart, a Master of Arts in Education from New York University and a Master of Science in Pastoral Counseling from Loyola College in Maryland. Carole's work has focused on women, relationships, adolescents, parenting, marriage, and workplace dynamics. Ms. King defines counseling as a graced time for studying one's self, one's relationships and one's environment. She uses insight-oriented reality therapy. Her work with individuals, couples and groups involves defining and refining objectives as well as recognizing and overcoming personal and organizational obstacles.

 

Kathleen Bishop, Ph.D, M.Div., Ed.S

Kathleen Bishop Ph.D. teaches Mindfulness Meditation for Stress Reduction at The Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore. She received her Mindfulness Meditation training at Jefferson-Myrna Brind Center for Integrative Medicine in Philadelphia. Kathleen also teaches Religious Studies at Rutgers University and maintains a private practice as a Psychotherapist in Long Branch and at the Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore in Manasquan. She is a long time practitioner with over 20 years of sitting meditation and leading retreats. Kathleen earned her Master of Divinity and Ph.D. from Drew University and an Ed.S in Marriage and Family Counseling from The College of New Jersey.

 

Rebecca Green,  MA, LPC, LCADC

Rebecca Green is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor with 15 years of counseling experience.  She holds a Masters degree in counseling Psychology which she received from Georgian Court University. Rebecca offers individual, couples, family and group counseling using Cognitive Behavioral therapy and Motivational Interviewing across the age continuum.

 

Sarah Liro,  MS, LAC, SAC

Sarah Liro is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey and has a Masters degree in Mental Health counseling. She is especially interested in working with children and adolescents.  She offers individual and family counseling sessions using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.  Sarah has worked previously in educational settings, and understands the complexities of school related and age specific issues.  She provides counseling to young adults and adults to help create balance to preserve one's wellness and will integrate the Christian faith into counseling sessions if you identify faith as part of your wellness and wellbeing.
