Samaritan Center at the Jersey Shore was proud to support the St. Rose High School HOPE Squad at their Mental Health Fair in Belmar, NJ on Friday, March 27.
Our Community Outreach Coordinator Judy McCormick, Mental Health Graduate Intern Colleen Vermeulen, and college intern Ava Blumenstock spent the day connecting with students and teachers, sharing tools for coping skills, conflict resolution, and emotional well‑being.
HOPE Squad is a peer‑to‑peer suicide prevention and mental health awareness program designed to create a safe, supportive, and caring school environment. We’re grateful for the opportunity to stand alongside them in this important work.
